Where does this data come from?
Gamewatch aggregates from a curated set of games-industry outlets: Destructoid, Eurogamer, Game Developer, GameDiscoverCo, GamesIndustry.biz, GamesRadar, IGN, Kotaku, Nintendo Life, PC Gamer, Polygon, Rock Paper Shotgun, Steam News, VG247, VGC. For Watchlist, it also matches coverage from across the wider web, beyond that core set.
Are the summaries written by the original journalists?
No. The summaries on Gamewatch are AI-generated paraphrases of reporting published elsewhere. They are always attributed and link back to the original source. Gamewatch curates and summarises — it doesn't produce original journalism, and it doesn't reproduce the original articles' text.
How often do the Feed and Calendar update?
The Feed and Articles update twice a day. The Calendar refreshes automatically each day with upcoming game releases — drawn from the 100 most-hyped games on IGDB over the next six months — and is updated by hand as industry conferences are confirmed.
What's the difference between Feed, Story Hub, and Watchlist?
The Feed is the raw stream of articles from all sources. Story Hub groups articles covering the same story into one cluster with a per-source summary. Watchlist is yours — it tracks specific studios, people, or games you choose and surfaces new coverage about them.
What's included in the paid tiers?

Can I get a refund?
Yes, and it's self-serve. Within 14 days of your initial payment, just cancel your subscription from your account's subscription settings and a full refund is issued to your original payment method automatically. No. Gamewatch is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any of the outlets it links to. It points to their reporting and credits them; that's the whole relationship.
